This weekend was a busy one at the Portier household. We had not one overnight guest, but three. Count em! Our weekend guests were my brother Joel and his friend Mike who came up for the weekend to play in a disc golf tournament here in Missouri City and John’s good friend Kendall who came into town for a visit. Oh and by the way, we have no guest bedroom! It was an air mattress city here on our floor, but we were more than happy to share our carpet space.
Weekend highlights include:
- Dinner Friday night at the rooster mexican restaurant with Kendall and Christiana
- Waking up early Saturday morning to tutor at QVE
- Playing and beating John and Kendall at miniature golf at Fun Tiki
- Visiting Millie Bush Bark Park with Selah
- Joining Sugar Creek Baptist and lunch to learn about the church afterwards
- Hiking all across the Quail Valley golf course to find Joel and then getting to watch him play disc golf for the first time.
