Why won't the dryer fold my clothes?

In the past week we have had several cold weather moments that have been uneventful, which is good.  I’ll take uneventful any day to the chaos that I know can come from a drop in temperature.   We did have a day off of school on a Friday because of possible snow, but only ended up getting nasty ice.  Snow would have been nice, but I did enjoy the day at home with my family. We just hung around the house all day in our pajamas, watching television, playing with Cullen, napping, eating, and such.  I probably should have done a little more cleaning, but we enjoyed being at home together.  I did sweep and mop a little bit.  Now we have to play catch up on laundry that we neglected.

When it comes to chores I’ve become so lazy.  I don’t mind bringing the clothes to the washer, adding the rain scented detergent, and then letting the machine wash the piles of clothes.  My amount of work is minimal here.  The part I hate about laundry is the endless folding of clothes once they are clean and dry.  Why won't the dryer fold my clothes?  Or put them away!  If I don't do it my clean khaki pants for work will sit wrinkled in the laundry basket because I didn’t hang them up and each morning I will go and digging for my clothes out of the endless pile of clean laundry. I’m going to work on changing this pattern that seems to have developed in our home.  Here’s the plan.  Let's hope it works.  I wash a load of clothes a day (most days) and then when they are dry, I’ll set the clean clothes on top of my bed.  Now in theory I should have to fold the clothing and put it away before I go to lay my head on the pillow for sleep.  We shall see if this works.  If not, I’ll be sleeping on clean clothes instead of my sheets.

New this week:
·        Cullen has started to play bathtub basketball with his daddy.
·        I tried a new recipe from Weight Watchers, Asian Chicken, Edamame and Noodle Soup.   It was tasty enough to try again.
·        We’re traveling this weekend to Victoria for Grandma’s 75th birthday.
